How to tell a massage business from an offer of sexual services

A massage business names the service

A spa, foot massage, tuina studio, or head spa has a public address and a list of ordinary services you can read before you book. Read that list on the shop's own website. This site links you there. It does not replace that page.

Registered massage therapy is on the public register

In Ontario, the titles Massage Therapist, MT, and RMT belong to people registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Look up the person on the public register, not only the words on a sign: Look before you book. A business-name match is not every person in the room.

An offer of sexual services is not massage

If what is being offered is a sexual service, that is not massage therapy and it is not a spa service. Do not book it. A legitimate shop can say, in public, what the service is and where it happens.
